DATAQUIRE / EGOCENTRIC CAPTURE

Show how the work gets done.

First-person footage can show the steps, decisions and outcomes of skilled work. DataQuire assesses rights, capture suitability and potential use before a project proceeds.

Choose Egocentric video in the estimator. No uploads needed to start.

Task examples

Real work.
Visible steps.

These examples describe tasks that could be assessed. A listed task does not establish eligibility or buyer demand.

Restaurants and kitchens

  • Workstation preparation
  • Ingredient preparation
  • Assembly and plating
  • Stock handling
  • Cleaning and sanitation

Trades and skilled work

  • Inspection
  • Measuring and marking
  • Tool setup
  • Assembly and fastening
  • Diagnostics and repair
  • Quality checks

Capture must fit safe working practices. Recording should not distract participants or interfere with food safety, sanitation or site procedures.

Eligibility and review

Permission before recording.

Existing archives and future capture are separate conversations. Both need clear rights, useful context and agreed review.

  1. Site permission

The organization responsible for the location must authorize capture and the proposed use.

  2. Participant releases

People taking part need appropriate releases covering the agreed recording and use.

  3. Confidentiality and bystanders

Review customers, bystanders, screens, documents and confidential processes before recording or sharing.

  4. Suitable capture hardware

The actual device and setup must be suitable for the task, working conditions and agreed technical plan.

  5. Understandable task context

Explain the task, its setup, the sequence of work and how the outcome can be checked.

  6. Agreed quality criteria

Define what makes footage usable and how it will be reviewed before any capture commitment.

There is no automatic acceptance or minimum-hours promise. Owners approve any sharing and license terms. A description starts assessment; it does not authorize recording, access or transfer.

Approved hours / example only

Recorded does not always mean usable.

Quality review and the written agreement determine which hours qualify for an agreed capture payment.

Example only: 10 hours recorded, 8 hours approved as usable. If the written agreement pays per approved hour, payment uses those 8 hours at the agreed rate.

This is not a current offer or rate. Any capture payment requires a written agreement. A potential license estimate is separate from payment for capture work.

Hardware boundaries

Describe what the device actually captures.

Capabilities depend on the actual hardware and setup. Video can show visible actions. It does not by itself measure touch or force.

Touch, force or other sensor measurements can only be described when the hardware actually supplies them and the capability has been verified. No particular device, sensor capability or equipment provision is promised here.

A future capture project needs a defined technical plan and signed agreement before recording begins.

Start with a description

Tell us about the work.
Keep the footage with you.

Use the existing estimator and choose Egocentric video. Describe the footage or proposed capture, its context and permissions. Do not upload raw footage or personal records through public forms.

DataQuire acts as an advisor and licensing intermediary. Assessment does not guarantee a capture project, a license or payment.
